1934: The Triumph Dolomite was introduced,
using an 8 cylinder engine in a sporting body
that resembled the Alfa Romeo 8C. This car
unfortunately did not make production and only 3
were made. This was due to financial troubles of
the company. The engine was a 120bhp, 1990cc,
twin overhead camshaft fitted with a Roots type
supercharger, this gave the car a top speed of
110mph. The car also featured Lockhead hydraulic
brakes with 400mm drums, a pressed steel chassis
with a beam front axel and half elliptic springs
all round.
1935: Production had stopped.
