Founding of the Morgan motor car company
The H.F.S Morgan motor car company was founded in 1909, by H.F.S Morgan, the company was run by H.F.S Morgan until 1959. From 1959, H.F.S Morgan's son, Peter Morgan, ran the company until 2003, shortly after witch he died. The Morgan motor car company is currently run by Peter Morgan's son, Charles Morgan.

History of Morgan motor car company
Founded in 1909, the company was built and based in Malvern Link, an area of Malvern, Worcestershire and employs 163 people. The Morgan company does not have a long history of changing owners, bankruptcy or closure. A nice small family owned and run car company.

The company had a slow start due to the fact they initially produced 3 wheelers, with stiff competition from the four wheeled Austin 7 and Morris Minor, both of which had comparable economy and price and grater comfort, fortunately the Morgan's 3 wheels meant it was classed as a cycle car, this meant it avoided British car tax being classed as a motorcycle. Three wheeled Morgan's remained in production until 1952 although they continue to this day to make four wheel cars, the first of which was introduced in 1936. The 170mph BMW powered Morgan Aeromax, as pictured above, is one of their latest cars and production has been limited to 100 cars.
